Description

The entrance gates, piers, and wall to Castle Park from Boroughgate date from the mid to late 19th century. The structure features four square stone piers topped with cornices, with the two inner piers holding iron lamps. There are four cast iron gates, and a red sandstone wall extends on both sides, leading to two smaller piers at each end.
