Description
Four Pines is a house that was originally two cottages, built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed, squared rubble and features a graduated stone flag roof with stone chimneys at both the mid and end. The building is two storeys high with attics and has four bays. The entrance consists of a plank door set in an openwork porch, with a single 20th-century casement window to the left and two casement windows to the right, one of which has replaced a door. On the first floor, there are two sash windows, and in the attic, there are two three-light windows located just below the eaves, with blocked windows situated between them and above the door. The main windows are fitted with glazing bars. This building is included for its group value with Bridge House.
