Description

The boundary stone located to the east of Bunkershill is a boundary marker that has been repurposed as a gatepost. It likely dates from the mid-19th century. The stone stands approximately 4 feet high and features an elliptical top with carved Roman lettering. On the south side, which is partly obscured by a wall, it reads "B F Co." On the north side, it is inscribed with "GOV & Co," referring to Governor & Co., an alternative name for the London Lead Company.
