Description

The Fletcher Memorial, located approximately 25 metres south of Priory Church in Lower Allithwaite, is a chest tomb dating from 1752. It is constructed of ashlar and features incised rectangles on the sides and ovals on the ends. The memorial commemorates Elizabeth Fletcher and her infant daughter. An inscription notes that it was restored by Henry Fletcher Rigg in 1875.
