Description
The wall enclosing the garden to the front and south side of the Crofters Public House is an early 19th-century structure. It is built of red sandstone rubble and features limestone copings and gate posts. The irregular wall is approximately 1 meter high and surrounds the garden area. There are principal openings located opposite the front porch of the Crofters and in the right return, both of which have limestone gateposts. The copings consist of rough limestone slabs. This wall is included for its group value.
