Description

Gossipgate Bridge, located to the south-west of Gossipgate House, is a bridge that likely dates from the 18th century. It is constructed from coursed, squared rubble and features flat copings on its parapet. The bridge has a single segmental arch, and there is a dated inscription on a panel above the center on the west side that reads: "REPAIRED BY SUBSCRIPTION 1834."
