Description

Gill Cottage is a cottage built around 1803. It is constructed of rendered rubble and features a graduated slate roof with a brick chimney at the south end. The front of the cottage is symmetrical, with two ground floor sash windows and one central sash window above, all of which have glazing bars set in stone surrounds. There is a single-storey lean-to on the south side, with a door located under a porch on the north side. The cottage is connected to a farmhouse by a single-storey range that adjoins the north side. It is included in the listing for its group value.
