Description

The wall south of Lyne Cottage is an early 19th-century front garden wall. It is constructed of English garden wall bond brickwork set on a red sandstone plinth, featuring large red sandstone corner quoins and calciferous sandstone slab coping. This wall encloses a small garden in front of the house and extends eastward to form the front wall of a larger side garden. It is included for its group value with the cottage.
