House, probably originally a hunting lodge for the nearby Kirklinton Hall. Early C19. Flemish bond brickwork on sandstone plinth; slate roof with lead hips, brick chimney stack. 1½ storeys, 2 bays at front, 2 storeys to rear. Entrance has reeded pilasters with moulded cornice and elliptical brick arch, 6-panel door and radial fanlight. Sash windows with glazing bars have flat brick arches and stone sills. Central mid-Cl9 gabled dormer above eaves. Outhouse to rear not included in listing.
