Description

This is a wall enclosing the garden south of Barnard's Farmhouse, built around 1770-1780. It is constructed of English bond brick with a coping, resting on a base made of coursed limestone rubble. The wall features pilaster buttresses that divide it. The south entry is flanked by gauged brick piers, each topped with a stone astragal, cornice, and ball finial. There is also an entry to the southeast, which adjoins the house, featuring brick piers that are surmounted by pyramidal caps.
