Description

No. 18 and the adjoining house, which includes No. 2 Cavendish Street, are two houses from the early 19th century. They are finished in painted stucco, with some incised detailing, and the upper floor is roughcast. The roofs are made of graduated greenslate and feature a coped gable with a left kneeler, as well as rendered and brick chimney stacks. Both houses are two storeys high and consist of three bays each. No. 2 has its facade on Cavendish Street, while the return wall forms part of the facade of No. 18 Portland Square. No. 18 features a panelled door with an overlight and sash windows, all set in painted stone surrounds. No. 2 has similar doors and windows.
