Description
Rosedene and the adjoining house is a building that has been converted into two dwellings. It likely dates from the late 17th century, with alterations and an extension added in the late 18th century. The walls are cement rendered over clay on the left side and made of sandstone on the right. The roof is covered with Welsh slate, featuring lower courses and a rear section of sandstone slates, along with 20th-century brick chimney stacks. The structure is two storeys high and consists of three bays, with an extension to the right that adds two more bays under a common roof. There is a plank door set in a painted stone surround, and a 20th-century wooden gabled porch. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, framed in 18th-century painted stone surrounds. At the rear of Rosedene, there is a 20th-century entrance and a steel casement window.
