Description

Thistlebottom is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with flush red sandstone quoins. The roof is made of graduated greenslate and features a coped gable on the left side, along with stone chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a single-bay extension to the right under a common roof. The entrance includes a panelled door set in a painted stone surround. The windows are sash types with glazing bars, also framed in painted stone surrounds.
