Description
Paddigill is a mid-17th century farmhouse located in Caldbeck. The building features roughcast walls topped with a Welsh slate roof and has roughcast chimney stacks. It is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The central entrance is a plank door set within a painted stone architrave, which is topped by a panelled frieze and a hoodmould. The windows are a mix of two- and three-light stone-mullioned designs, some of which have had their mullions removed, all also featuring hoodmoulds. To the right of the entrance, there is a small fire window. On the upper floor, there is a right casement window within an enlarged painted surround. The rear of the building has similar stone-mullioned windows, with some also missing their mullions. The adjoining outbuildings are not of interest.
