Description
Gallowberry and the attached barn are a house and barn dating from the late 18th century. The building features rendered walls with raised painted quoins and sandstone rubble walls at the rear. It has a Welsh slate roof and brick chimney stacks. The structure is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The entrance includes a 20th-century door with a plain stone surround. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are also framed by plain stone surrounds. To the right, there is a two-storey single bay extension, with the barn positioned at right angles. The barn is constructed from red sandstone rubble walls and has a Welsh slate roof, along with plank doors, steel casement windows, and slit vents.
