Description
The cross in the churchyard to the north of the Priory Church nave is likely from the 10th or 11th century. It features two steps, with the lower step made of sandstone slabs and the upper step consisting of a single block that supports a stone cross-shaft approximately 3 feet high, set in a rectangular socket. The shaft is decorated with interlace patterns on all four sides, and part of the lower arm of the cross-head is still intact.
