Description

The sundial, located in the churchyard to the north-east of the Priory Church chancel, is dated 1649 and features the initials I.W., I.R., and W.B. It is supported by three steps made of sandstone slabs and has a monolithic octagonal stone shaft that stands approximately 4 feet high, with central banding. The square top of the sundial has a circular brass plate with a gnomon inset, which is likely not original to the sundial.
