Description
Hollinstone Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse constructed from dressed red sandstone, featuring large quoins. The building has a slate roof with coped gables and kneelers, and yellow brick chimney stacks set on stone bases. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. The entrance is framed by a plain painted stone surround and features an earlier door that has a 20th-century facing and a 20th-century glazed fanlight. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, include three-pane upper sashes and plain painted stone surrounds, with a smaller probable fire-window located to the right of the entrance. An extension to the left has rubble walls and lacks windows. The listing does not include other farm buildings.
