Description
Aikton House is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from calciferous sandstone ashlar, featuring a slate roof that was undergoing extensive repair at the time of the survey. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays. It has a four-panel door with a patterned fanlight set within an Ionic doorcase. The sash windows, which include glazing bars, are framed in flush surrounds. An extension to the left and the outbuildings are not considered of interest.
