Description
Parton Hall is an early 19th-century farmhouse located in Parton, Thursby. It is constructed of red sandstone coursed rubble resting on a chamfered plinth, with calciferous sandstone V-jointed quoins. The building features a graduated greenslate roof and ashlar chimney stacks. It stands two storeys high and has three bays, along with a two-storey, two-bay extension that has a lower roof line, creating an L-shape. The entrance is marked by a prostyle Ionic porch, leading to a panelled door set within a stone surround. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, also framed in stone surrounds.
