Description

This outbuilding, located to the southwest of Stonegarthside Hall, was originally a barn and dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of dressed calciferous sandstone and features a Welsh slate roof. The building is single storey with a loft and has an arcade of eight segmental arches, some of which have plank doors, while one has a 20th-century sliding door for garage access. The rear wall includes a square-headed cart entrance. This outbuilding is listed partly for its group value with the nearby Stonegarthside Hall.
