Description

Number 114 and the adjoining former barn are a house and barn dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The building features painted incised stucco, an eaves cornice, and V-jointed quoins. It has graduated greenslate roofs with cement rendered chimney stacks. The structure is two storeys high and has three bays, with a lower recessed two-bay former barn on the right. There is a 20th-century door set in a painted stone architrave beneath a pediment. The house has sash windows in painted stone architraves. The former barn includes a plain painted stone-surround doorway and 20th-century garage doors. It also has sash and casement windows in painted stone surrounds, along with a small oval vent above the garage doors.
