Description

Nos 30 and 30A Market Place is an 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall and is finished with cement render and a slate roof. The shop front features four Ionic pilasters and modern windows. Each of the upper floors has five windows that include glazing bars, are set within reveals, and are adorned with moulded stone dressings. This building is part of a group of listed buildings in Market Place, which includes Kirkgate Corner and the surrounding properties on St Helen's Street and Castlegate.
