Description

This is an early 19th-century house with a shop. Originally listed as numbers 40 to 46 (even) Market Place, it is now identified separately. The building is constructed of rubble, rendered throughout, with a Welsh slate roof featuring red ridge tiles. It is two storeys high and has a tall end stack to the left. The front elevation has two windows; the ground floor features a mid-19th century shop front with pilasters and a moulded cornice, including a doorway on the right side. A panelled door leads to the house entrance on the right. The first-floor windows are 12-pane sashes set within raised stone surrounds.
