Description

46 Market Place is a house with a shop, dating from the early 19th century, with a later 19th-century shopfront. The building is constructed of rubble and is rendered throughout. It features a gable-end roof with a stack at the right-hand end and stands three storeys tall. The façade has a regular two-window arrangement, with a moulded cornice above. The windows on the first and second floors have raised stone surrounds and 4-pane horned sashes set in reveals. There is an interrupted sill band at the first floor. The shopfront includes pilasters and a moulded cornice, with an entrance to the house on the right-hand side.
