Description
Nos. 30 and 30A on Church Street is a shop with accommodation above, dating from the 19th century. The building is rendered and has a slate roof that is gabled at both ends, with a rendered stack at the right end. It is a double-depth structure that is one room wide and has three storeys. The front has two windows and features deep eaves with an eaves band. The ground floor includes a continuous fascia with a moulded cornice. To the right, there is a recessed four-panel door with moulded reveals in the doorcase and a pilaster to the left. The shop window is made of plate glass and is canted towards a glazed left-hand shop door that has an overlight. There are two 12-pane horned sash windows on both the first and ground floors. The interior has not been inspected but may still have interesting features.
