Description

9 Castlegate is a late 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall. It features a cement-rendered exterior and a slate roof. The entrance has a plain stone doorway with a simple moulded cornice and a four-panelled door. On the ground floor, there are two sash windows, while the upper floor has three sash windows, all set within plain stone architraves. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 10 (even) and Nos 1 to 13 (odd), as well as Nos 14 to 28 (even) and Nos 30 to 30A Market Place.
