Description

A terrace of seven houses at 35-47 Chiswick Street, built in the late 1860s or early 1870s. The houses are constructed of Flemish bond brickwork, with cream brick bands on numbers 35-37. They sit on a chamfered stone plinth and have calciferous sandstone dressings, some of which are painted. The roofs are covered in Welsh slate, with original shared brick chimney stacks.

Each house has two bays and double-depth plan. Each features a right-panelled door, some with glazing, set within a stone architrave with a dentilled cornice and accessed by steps. The sash windows are similarly framed in stone, with brackets beneath each sill. Number 45 has a later, inserted ground floor canted bay window. The interiors remain uninspected.
