Description

Nos 13, 15, and 17 on Carlisle Road are three houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from dressed red sandstone and feature a chamfered plinth, a Welsh slate roof with a stone ridge, and brick chimney stacks. Each house has two storeys and three bays. The entrances to Nos 13 and 17 are round-headed, with a false keystone and springers, and include a radial fanlight. All the houses have six-panelled doors, with No 13 having a top-glazed door. The windows are two-pane sashes with plain stone surrounds, and there is a blind painted window above the entrance to No 13. These houses are included in the listing for their group value.
