Description

This is a late 17th-century house located on Longtown Road in Brampton. It is constructed with incised stucco walls, stone dressings, a Welsh slate roof, and brick chimney stacks. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. The entrance features a top-glazed five-panel door, sheltered by a projecting elliptical stone hood supported by decorated and scrolled console brackets. The windows are two-pane sash windows. Although the building has been altered over time, the style of the entrance hood suggests an early date for the original construction.
