Description
St Michael's Well, located north-west of the Church of St Michael, is a holy well that likely dates back to the early 17th century. It is constructed from red sandstone and features a small pointed-arched well head with a recessed bowl. There is a retaining wall with steps leading down to a paved area and a sunken stone trough. At the time of the resurvey, the well was completely overgrown.
