Description

Two houses, dated 1810, located on Graham Street, Longtown. The initials "W.G." appear on the keystone of the left side. The houses have painted rendered walls above a chamfered and painted plinth. Pilastered quoins and a moulded cornice run along the facade, topped by a Welsh slate roof. The left gable has a coping, and the property features yellow brick chimney stacks. Each house is two storeys and two bays wide. The entrances are defined by four-panel doors and radial fanlights within pilastered surrounds, featuring moulded round arches and false keystones. Windows are sash windows with two panes, set within plain painted stone surrounds. A shared central Venetian window is positioned above the entrances; this features a blank round-headed recess with a false keystone and single-pane sash side lights. A later adjoining house to the right is not part of this listing.
