Description
Thornby Hall wellhead, located approximately 80 meters northwest of the entrance front, is likely from the late 18th century. It is made of travertine and is square in shape, designed to resemble a large capital with urns, a shield, and a rosette on each face. The wellhead has remnants of an iron covering and sits on a circular plinth. It is probably of Italian origin and has likely been reset from another location.
