Description

Filey Cottage is a 18th-century cottage constructed from coursed ironstone rubble with a thatched roof and brick end stacks. It features a two-unit plan and stands two stories tall with a two-window range. The main facade facing the garden has a central glazed door topped with a gabled overlight. There are 2-light casement windows on both the ground and first floors, with the ground floor windows having painted stone lintels and keyblocks. To the left, there is a single-storey extension that was further extended in brick in the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
