Description
This headstone, dating from the late 17th century, is made of limestone and is located approximately 7 meters southwest of the west corner of the south porch of the Church of St. Leonard in Aston-le-Walls. It features an inscription plaque that is framed by an eared architrave, which is topped with an oval medallion and scrolls. The date inscribed on the headstone is 1691, although no name is currently legible.
