Description

This listing describes a pair of headstones located approximately 10 meters south of the south aisle of the Church of St. Mary in Welford. They date from the late 17th century and are made of lias ashlar stone, featuring moulded heads. One of the headstones has an oval inscription panel, which contains a partially legible inscription dedicated to Elizabeth Woodford, dated 1677.
