Description

The Post Office and Stores, along with the attached house, is a building located on the north side of the High Street in Ravensthorpe. It likely dates from the early 18th century and features a rendered cob exterior with a thatched roof. Originally designed as a two-unit plan, it is a single-storey structure with an attic. The façade includes a two-window range of 19th-century casements and eyebrow dormers in the attic. To the right, there is a 20th-century shop window and a central 20th-century door. The building has brick stacks at the ends and a 19th-century one-unit extension to the right. Inside, there is an open fireplace with a bressumer.
