Description

Manor Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse with 19th-century alterations and extensions. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, banded with ironstone, and has a thatched roof. The building is arranged in a "T" shape. The south-facing entrance front features a 20th-century panelled and part-glazed door with an overlight, set within a timber thatched porch. A 2-light leaded casement window sits above the porch on the cross-wing to the left, with a timber lintel. To the right of this is a 2-storey, 2-window extension lacking the ironstone banding, featuring 6-pane and tripartite sash windows with timber lintels. The projecting cross-wing to the left has a tripartite sash window on both the ground and first floors, and a 2-light leaded casement window to the attic floor, all with timber lintels. Ironstone quoins are present. The interior has not been inspected.
