Description
The Falcon Hotel is a hotel that dates from the late 17th century and has been altered and extended in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone with a plain-tile roof, featuring brick ridge and end stacks. The building is two stories high and has a four-window range. There is a panelled door located to the right of the centre, which is set in a gabled timber porch. The ground floor has a 2-light leaded window at the far left and another to the right of the door, while the ground and first floors have similar 3-light windows; all windows are topped with wood lintels. The stone-coped gables are supported by kneelers. There are lower two-storey extensions on both the left and right sides, with an additional 20th-century extension on the left. Inside, the hotel features chamfered spine beams and an open fireplace with a chamfered bressumer.
