Description
Bathstone Bridge is a bridge built around 1765, constructed from limestone ashlar. It features a single elliptical arch with plain ramped approaches and a keyblock, which is flanked by shallow plain pilaster buttresses. The balustraded parapets are divided into three sections by panelled piers. There is a cantilevered balcony on the south side and a sluice located below the bridge. The bridge is situated between the upper and middle Warren Ponds. Castle Ashby park and gardens, where the bridge is located, are listed in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission Register of Parks and Gardens for Northamptonshire at Grade I.
