Description
This is an outbuilding and brewhouse, dating from the 18th century, located approximately 15 meters northeast of Poplars House. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone and features a straw thatch roof. The building has four bays, with stable doors positioned to the left and right of the center, flanked by single-light windows. Quoins are present, and there is some cob at the eaves of the right half. Attached to the right is a lower single-storey brewhouse with a pantile roof, which includes a stable door, a two-light casement window to the right, and a 20th-century four-light casement window at the far right, all featuring wooden lintels. The thatched section is divided into two by a full-height wall, and the roof is supported by clasped principals with ties and collars, along with two tiers of purlins.
