Description

The dovecote at Manor House is a structure likely dating from the 17th century, with restoration occurring in the 19th century. It is built from coursed squared ironstone and has a circular plan. The roof is made of lead and features a central octagonal timber glover topped with a ball finial. The eaves are deep and bracketed, and there is a plank door with a wooden lintel. The dovecote has the capacity for over 900 roostings.
