Description
The wall and gatepier adjoining the southwest corner of the Manor House in Ashby St. Ledgers date back to the 17th century. The wall is constructed from squared coursed ironstone and features a stone coping. It has a two-plan ending at the gatepier, which is located opposite the east side of the stables. The gatepier is also from the 17th century and is made of ironstone ashlar, topped with a bottle-shaped finial.
