Description
The right gatepier and attached wall at the southwest entrance to the Manor House is a structure that reflects a 17th-century style but is likely from the early 20th century, possibly designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. The gatepier is made of ironstone ashlar and features a square rusticated design topped with a moulded entablature and a bottle-shaped finial. The wall to the right is probably from the 17th century, constructed from coursed limestone and ironstone rubble, and it has moulded stone coping.
