Description

Farm buildings at Manor Farmhouse, dating from the early to mid 19th century, are constructed from coursed limestone rubble and feature hipped slate roofs. The buildings are arranged in an E-plan around three sides of a yard, with a barn located at the center of the main range. A shelter shed extends from the center of the barn into the yard. The return wings include three-bay cart sheds, which have doors and two-light casement windows with segmental-arched brick heads. Manor Farm was previously part of the Grafton Estate, and the layout of these farm buildings reflects that of the Grafton model farms. They are included for their group value.
