Description
The gatepiers at the road to Newbottle Manor date from the 19th century and are constructed from limestone featuring banded rustication. They have a frieze adorned with carved foliage and a medallion, along with a dentilled cornice and a moulded entablature. The left gatepier was obscured at the time of the survey. These gatepiers were likely built around the same time as the nearby lodge, which has a datestone from 1873. The gates themselves are made of timber and iron from the 19th century.
