Description
The Old Manor is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is built of coursed limestone rubble with a plain tile roof and features stone end stacks with blue brick flues. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, presenting a three-window range. The central entrance has a 20th-century door with a timber lintel and a moulded stone lintel above, which is topped with a cornice. This entrance is flanked by three-light casement windows, and above the door is a two-light casement, also flanked by three-light casements that have stop-chamfered lintels and hood moulds. The exterior includes a chamfered plinth, quoins, a roof dormer, and stone coped gables with kneelers. To the right, there is a single-storey converted outbuilding that is now part of the house. Inside, the property features ogee stop-chamfered spine beams, a stone flagged floor, an open fireplace with a chamfered bressumer, and a dog-leg staircase with turned balusters.
