Description

College Farm is a farmhouse dating to the 17th century, remodelled around 1800. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a slate roof and brick stacks. The building retains its 17th-century pattern of window openings and a through-passage plan. It is two storeys high and has four bays. A doorway in the second bay from the left has a wooden lintel and a six-panel door. Sash windows are present to the left, with wooden lintels. Two similar sash windows are situated to the right. The first floor also features sash windows with wooden lintels. Internally, there are early 18th-century panelled doors, though these are not in their original locations. Fireplaces and panelled shutters, dating to around 1800, are also present.
