Description
Bay Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a 20th-century ridged tile roof with brick stacks at each end. The building has a two-unit plan and is two stories high with a two-window range. To the right of the center, there is a four-panel door with a wooden lintel. The windows on both the ground and first floors are three-light casements, also with wooden lintels. The gable to the right is stone-coped, and there is a two-storey extension to the right, along with a single-storey extension added to the rear in the 20th century. Inside, the farmhouse has chamfered spine beams.
