Description
The Manor is a house that was formerly a farmhouse, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a slate roof and brick end stacks. The building has a 2-unit plan and is two stories high with a two-window range. The ground floor features three-light casement windows, while the first floor has two-light casements, all with wooden lintels. The exterior includes ironstone quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers, as well as two gabled roof dormers. At the rear left, there is a two-storey wing that has a 19th-century part-glazed four-panel door set within a 19th-century porch. Inside, the house is noted for having an open fireplace with a boxed bressumer.
